India-Bangladesh Structural Chemistry Conference

This unique two day India-Bangladesh bilateral conference will focus on the topics related to crystal engineering of small molecules and macromolecular structural chemistry, including topics on synthesis, structure and dynamics, which indeed are the issues at the heart of the contemporary chemistry. The gathering offers an opportunity for the scientists from India and Bangladesh to exchange their scientific ideas as well as to initiate cooperation and future collaborations. This conference, jointly hosted by the IISER Kolkata, International Union of Crystallography and the Royal Society of Chemistry, is organized as a part of the extended celebrations of the International Year of Crystallography 2014. It aims to strengthen the scientific ties between the neighboring countries, India and Bangladesh, to popularize the crystallography and structural chemistry of small and macromolecular materials.
