The IUCr Secretariat is the Union’s permanent professional office. Based in Chester, UK, it supports the IUCr’s elected leadership and delivers the Union’s scientific, publishing, governance and community activities.
The Secretariat does not govern the IUCr. It implements decisions made by the General Assembly and Executive Committee and manages the Union’s day-to-day operations.
