26th Croatian-Slovenian Crystallographic Meeting

This workshop, with no registration fee, brings to crystallographers from different countries to present their work and exchange ideas across multiple areas of research involving crystallography.
The official language of the meeting is English.
There are a number of bursaries available for PhD students and post-docs; deadline for bursary application is 15th April 2018.
Deadline for registration, abstract submission and hotel reservation is 10th May 2018.

3rd Joint AIC-SILS Conference

The third joint conference of the Italian Crystallographic Association (AIC) and of the Italian Synchrotron Radiation Society (SILS).
The program selected by the Scientific Committee will encourage the participation and contacts between members of the two associations involved, enabling ideas exchange in scientific fields concerning the study of condensed matter properties, such as Crystal Growth, Nanoscience, Methods and Techniques for the determination of Atomic, Electronic and Vibrational Structures, Molecular Recognition, Polymer and Materials Science, Molecular Medicine and Structural Biology.

The American Crystallographic Association is excited to announce the 68th Annual Meeting to be held from July 20 to 24, 2018 in beautiful downtown Toronto, Canada.

6th Tunisian Crystallographic Meeting (TCM6)

TCM6 is intended to provide an excellent opportunity for National, Maghreb and International researchers to make their own work known to a wider audience and to have discussions with other participants. The French Society of Biophysics and the Biology Discussion Group of the French Association of Crystallography (GTBIO) join forces to promote scientific interactions among researchers whose work lie at the interface between physics and biology. The 8th International Conference of the Hellenic Crystallographic Association (HeCrA) and the 11th Conference of the Hellenic Society for Computational Biology and Bioinformatics (HSCBB) are jointly organized as HeCrA-HSCBB16.Â
HeCrA-HSCBB16 will take place at the Agricultural University of Athens in October 7-9, 2016.Â
The conference will address key questions and issues in molecular structure and interactions. The Conference is the major event both of HeCrA & HSCBB. It is a forum to communicate state-of-the-art research, interact and establish scientific networks and collaborations.
In particular, it will bring together crystallographers with Bioinformaticians and Computational Biologists for the identification of macromolecular targets and small molecules of pharmaceutical and biotechnological interest and study their interactions.

As you may have already recognized this is will be the sixth "NCS" of the series started in 2009.
We have already started the preparation of the next issue of the conference (submitted manuscripts will be published in the journal “Bulgarian Chemical Communicationsâ€, a special issues due April 2017).NCS16 papers will also be online available in full text via the present platform.  You are warmly invited to come and join us!
NCS2016 is held under the auspices of BCS and is the major event on Crystallography, crystal growth, structure analyses and related techniques in Bulgaria. The Symposium aims at the applications of different crystallographic techniques in combination with other methods in the fields of materials sciences, mineralogy, biology, environmental engineering, computational methods etc. Bringing together researchers from different areas NCS16 will provide them with a high-qualified platform for them to share their latest studies and to assist further findings and collaboration.

24th Croatian-Slovenian Crystallographic Meeting (CSCM24)

We are very glad to announce the Summer of Crystallography which will take place in the beautiful small town and famous tourist resort of Bol, on the island of BraÄ, Croatia, in the Bluesun Hotel Elaphusa (4*), from September 21st to October 2nd, 2016. This project includes two international crystallographic meetings, to be held one just after the other.
The event starts with the 24th Croatian-Slovenian Crystallographic Meeting (CSCM24), from September 21st to September 25th, 2016, which is jointly organized by the Croatian Crystallographic Association and the Slovenian Crystallographic Society, under the auspices of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts. All the necessary information on the venue, scientific programme, plenary lecturers, abstract submission, registration procedure, social programme, deadlines, accommodation arrangement, arrival to Bol, can be found at the conference web site. All contributions will be presented orally. An interesting half-day excursion to the interior of the island of BraÄ will be organized for all participants and accompanying persons. It should be mentioned that there is no registration fee for this Meeting.
Since 1992, every year crystallographers from different countries attend the annual Croatian-Slovenian / Slovenian-Croatian Crystallographic Meetings, alternatively in Croatia and Slovenia, to present their work and exchange ideas in multiple areas of research involving crystallography. Most of the participants of the previous meetings have expressed their opinion that these meetings have been very successful in all aspects, scientifically and socially, offering a friendly and domestic atmosphere.
CSCM24 is followed by the 3rd European Crystallography School (ECS3), from September 25th to October 2nd, 2016. The ECS3 is organized by the Croatian Association of Crystallographers and the European Crystallographic Association. All details about the programme, registration, accommodation and important dates of the ECS3 can be found on the web site http://ecs3.ecanews.org/.
After the 29th European Crystallographic Meeting, Rovinj 2015, Croatian crystallographers are very much looking forward to hosting once again colleagues from across the globe.
On behalf of the Croatian Crystallographic Association and the Slovenian Crystallographic Society as well as the Croatian Association of Crystallographers, it is our pleasure to invite our old friends, previous participants as well as newcomers, and especially young scientists, to attend the events of the Summer of Crystallography in Bol.
