Commission on Mathematical and Theoretical Crystallography

Meetings and Schools

The IUCr MaThCryst commission organizes, in cooperation with other IUCr commissions, Satellite Conferences and Schools on Crystallography. School are of two types:

  • general schools, targetting young scientists (PhD students, post-docs) or researchers from different fields who need to deepen their formation in mathematical and theoretical crystallography;
  • thematic schools, devoted to introducing more specific and advanced topics.

We try to alternate the two types of schools, on the basis of the availability of the lecturers.

The events organized by the Commission can also be divided on the basis of the regional venue.
