Gjønnes Medal in Electron Crystallography 2026

Congratulations to Doctor Lukas Palatinus (Institute of Physics of the CAS, Prague, Czechia), recipient of the Gjønnes Medal in Electron Crystallography.

Awarded every three years by the IUCr Commission on Electron Crystallography, the Gjønnes Medal recognizes outstanding contributions to the field of electron crystallography. The award includes a certificate and funding to present an invited Keynote Lecture at the 27th IUCr Congress and General Assembly, to be held in Calgary, Canada, in August 2026.
