APERIODIC 2027: XII International Conference on Aperiodic Crystals

27 June–2 July 2027 | AGH University of Kraków, Poland

The XII International Conference on Aperiodic Crystals (APERIODIC 2027) will bring together researchers working on aperiodic crystals, including incommensurately modulated phases, composite crystals and quasicrystals.

Supported by the IUCr Commission on Aperiodic Crystals (CAC), the triennial conference provides an international forum for sharing new research, exchanging ideas and developing collaborations across crystallography, materials science and related fields.

APERIODIC conferences are held every three years in locations around the world. Recent meetings have taken place in Caen, France (2024); Sapporo, Japan (2022); Ames, USA (2018); Prague, Czech Republic (2015); Cairns, Australia (2012); Liverpool, UK (2009); Zao, Japan (2006); Belo Horizonte, Brazil (2003); and Nijmegen, the Netherlands (2000).

APERIODIC 2027 will be held on the campus of AGH University of Kraków, within walking distance of Kraków's historic centre.

Researchers working across all areas related to aperiodic crystallography are invited to participate.
